Bed bugs in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas! OMG!

After a 15 minute walk from the parking garage to the hotel and 5 minutes to figure out where the lobby was, my husband and I checked into a room. My husband noticed black dots moving on the bed and realized they were bugs. The front desk gave us another room. We were told we needed to file a report with security who never arrived to our new room for the report. During our stay, the non-smoking room smelled of smoke and marijuana from the hall and adjacent rooms. The house cleaners didn’t clean with clean towels, since we can see all the dirty rag marks on the counters and hair, different color from ours, on the toilet. Our room keys stopped working each day after 3pm. After the second day, I thought it was comical and so did the desk clerk. The carpet is not latex right causing lumps/ mounds in the carpet creating trip hazards.
Over all, the location of the hotel is mid strip near everything. I would bring sanitation wipes to clean the room each day and definitely check for bugs! I do not recommend this hotel. After staying at the Paris, New York- New York, MGM, Mandalay Bay, Baley’s and many others, this is definitely the worst hotel I’ve experienced on the strip. Definitely not worth even a free/ comped room (which you still have to pay $42 per day in resort fees and tax). I would recommend Avoiding this hotel.

DISGUSTING!

Be prepared to walk 12-15 minutes from the parking garage to the difficult to locate front desk through the Miracle mike hall with drunk patrons. Once we arrived in our room, my husband noticed “black lint”on the white bed sheets, pillows, and tan couch. On further investigation, the “black lint” moved and were BUGS, possible bed bugs! I called and we walked back down to the front desk, where we were asked to file a security report for finding the bugs, I thought was strange. Our room was changed with out bugs.
During our 5day/ 4 night stay, our room key stopped working each day after 3 pm, so we needed to go down to the front desk for new keys daily. The cleaning crews sanitation/ cleaning techniques are questionable after noticing black hairs in, around and on the toilet as we first entered the room and through out our stay. Be mindful, My husband and I are both blonde.
After all, Although our stay was on a comp promotion, planet Hollywood hotel and casino is not work the headache and frustration.

Me and my wife can write a book

Not only a 3 page report!

“Unfortunately, there’s not enough space for my 3 page report on why you shouldn’t stay at this hotel. Just keep in mind, this hotel does not have an active customer service depart, the casino reaks of cigarette smoke, the odor of marijuana (at least during my stay) can be distinctly smelled on the casino floor, people assigned to express check-in really have no interest in doing their job. Look for a more detailed review on yelp.”

Thanks for the share Richie

IRS MUST investigate MGM

My stay was fine, but they refuse to provide me with a receipt. The room is in my name, I used my credit card, and I provided the correct confirmation number, but I was refused a receipt for my purchase. That boggles my mind. Now to figure out how to work this through my company who’s supposed to cover this charge.

SHOCKING! Even when Planet Hollywood closes they ruining lives!

Even when close they still steal money from people!

I hope this hotel will shut down and get closed!

“They took my money and made my reservation I showed up and it was closed, never got a call text or email. I am so upset it was my wife’s birthday!!!”

WE GOT ROBBED FROM OUR HOTEL ROOM!!!!!!! VERY UNSAFE HOTEL!!!!! If there is one review you need to read it’s THIS one! It was my second time staying at Planet Hollywood this passed weekend for my 21st birthday and it completely ruined my weekend. Several times throughout the night our door was being pushed and knocked on… sounds like nothing but it leads to something. Saturday night my friends and I got back from our hotel and as time was passing we noticed several valuables from our room was missing. One of the items that was missing was my friends purse, they left everything that was in that bag and wrapped it around her towel, but took the bag, her wallet and a makeup bag. Which was weird cause who would steal a Coach bag??? Also, usually people take the whole entire purse but they left her items behind? Then I noticed my JBL speaker was gone, my friend’s giant portable charger (the big ones worth over $90) and all our cash that was tucked away (we left the hotel with our credit/debit cards but cash behind). The clothes in our luggage was rearranged as well, we felt absolutely disgusted. We called the front desk and let them know how unsafe we felt and they moved us to a smaller room which wasn’t even what got me upset… The security named Don (who was very sweet and he was very open and honest with us) told us that THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THE HOTEL HALLWAY!!! He said 9 times out of 10 they never know who comes inside the rooms, THE SECURITY HIMSELF TOLD US THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME TO THEIR GUESTS!!!!! THE DOORS DO NOT LOCK ALL THE WAY EVEN IF YOU THINK THE DOORS ARE LOCKED!!!!! We spoke to the hotel manager, some short guy named Ron or Ronny (can’t remember because he was irrelevant) and he didn’t even bother to apologize or give us anything in return. His face was blank and with no remorse it was the scariest thing because it seemed so normalized!!! This is a VERY UNSAFE place to stay!!! I recommend you stay anywhere else BUT here!!! One of the worst experiences in all the hotels I’ve stayed in I would never imagine anyone coming to steal items from your room when you’re out. 🙁

Planet Hollywood Review 2020

PLEASE READ!! BEWARE ALL! YOU ARE NOT SAFE IN THIS HOTEL!! $1400 CASH STOLEN From 3 different purses WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING!!!! Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star, that’s being too nice!
First of all Deadbolts were not explained on how to use therefore we never used it on the double doors of our 2 bedroom suite. 2nd THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THEIR HALLWAYS SO ANYONE CAN ENTER YOUR ROOM IF THEY HAVE THE KEY!! It is not safe in this hotel!! 3rd beware of housekeeping or any employee who has key access to the rooms! Keep all your valuables safe!!!
4th Management sucks!!!! Rommel Tolentino lies to cover up for his employee and reputation of the hotel. Robert also had nothing to say. Very ineffective management! Poor paying customers!!They don’t care whether you got robbed!! They won’t do anything about it!! – No compensation whatsoever! You will not get your money back nor will you be compensated for it!!! Management and housekeeping sucks! They will protect their staff even though it was obvious that it was one of the housekeeping runner staff!

Planet hollywood las vegas will steal your money not from the casino from your wallet

Stayed in a suite over the weekend. Woke up Sunday morning to find cash stolen out of several family member wallets. Management seemed empathetic at first but said because it was the weekend they’d need a couple of days to investigate so they’d call me by Tuesday if not sooner. Of course, there was no follow up even though the Assistant Front Desk Manager, Rommel Tolentino said he would look into the situation personally. I followed up Wednesday and he tells me “oh, I thought the other manager called you”.

After our experience of having someone enter our room and steal money from our family we just don’t feel safe.

There are double doors to the suite which has the ability to engage a deadbolt that we could have used to keep even those with housekeeping keys from entering the room. At no time were we made aware that this was an option and there’s no instruction anywhere on how to use this deadbolt.

Management says that through their investigation they found that during the time of the incident we DID use the deadbolt. This is a flat out lie. It makes no sense that a staff member from housekeeping stepped foot into our room early Sunday morning asking us if they could service the suite while we were all still asleep. How could they enter if they say the deadbolt was engaged.

They are taking no responsibility. Definitely feel like the hotel management has no care for the well-being of their guests our their valuables.

Overbooked our room. 5 people one bed. Rude customer service. No apologies were giving from your staff because apparently this company’s motto is: empathy who? We don’t know her. Your staff over talking a customer on the phone. No extra sheets were given even after calling the front desk twice. Let’s see what else….

NEVER WILL I STAY HERE AGAIN!!! The lady answering the room service phone is rude!! They don’t keep a single bottle of water in the room, so I called and ordered one and it literally took a HALF HOUR!!! What the heck it’s water not food!!!! I called to ask what was taking so long and she tried to tell me it had not been a half hour. Um I can tell time lady! Ugh so rude! This hotel is the worst! I come to Vegas a lot, and I will never stay at this hotel again!

Stay away from this hotel. I walked  four blocks because they said you had to physically be here to check in early. No mention that it was gonna be $30 more. stay away from this hotel and pay more somewhere else.

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Review BAD

Such a terrible experience so far. Tried to check in early the customer service pushes you to use the kiosk which is just terrible. Takes forever and doesn’t tell you anything about your early check in, just says that you will have to wait for an email, which never came. Then when we finally come to check in at the normal time we are directed to the kiosk again, because of the lack of people they have working which results in huge lines. We finally get through the terrible kiosk again to get our room keys printed and they don’t work. Have to end up waiting in the long lines anyways and there is more to the story but basically the message is they SUCK at customer service! Stay somewhere else! I know I will be.

This place seems to just get worse. Takes several minutes to even get acknowledged at their bar while the employees just shoot the shit amongst each other. Craps is a $15 minimum on a Monday morning at 7am. And they wonder why it’s dead? This place seems to have the most out of touch management in Caesars entire portfolio. No wonder they got bought out by an equity firm.
